Original mosaic tile floors, stained glass and exposed brick give the Met that one thing that you can’t buy – character. Since cleaning up the place in 2009, The Donnelly Pub Group has begun donating 25% of annual profits to charity organizations in Gastown and the Downtown East Side, including the Food Bank, United We Can, Gallery Gachet and others.
The Met’s nights include Karaoke Wednesdays, rotating hip hop and funk DJs Thursdays, party rock from rap to electro on My Radio Fridays & Black Label Saturday dance parties. Mega-cheap drinks, amazingly off-kilter people, good times.
